Kiosk Market

Interactive kiosks provide users with access to useful information in an easily and understandable format. They are designed for the average user who has little or no experience with computer or information systems. The most commonly used kiosk is operated by using a touchscreen, though other input devices are utilized including touchpads.
An independent research group, predicts that the total number of kiosks installed in the U.S. will increase dramatically from 210,000 to 785,000 by 2004.
